Egyptian Indian Wedding | Yasmine and Shams

Wow Yasmine and Shams wedding was absolutely gorgeous!

Talk about an epic start to the 2022 wedding season! Yasmine and Shams literally look like they stepped out of a fairytale on their wedding day. They had their wedding at Lombardo’s on May 14. They tied in both their Indian and Egyptian cultures into their wedding day. They started the evening off with the Baraat, however, they forgot to grab Shams before they started. Once everyone settled into their seats, Yasmine and Shams along with their families and the Zaffeh got ready for the entrance.

When the Zaffeh started, you could feel the energy in the room go through the roof as the two newlyweds danced their way to the dance floor. After their entrance the two did their ring exchange and went straight into their first dance. Followed by speeches and photos with their guest. During dinner Shams and Yasmine went off to change into their next look.

When they reappeared they were in traditional Indian outfits and did a second first look. (I honestly can’t even decide which look I loved more they both were stunning!) They then lined up for their second entrance. This time, they were accompanied by Bhangra performers. The couple sat down and enjoyed a special choreographed dance for them. At the end the bride and groom and their guests joined the performers and learned part of the dance. Before they were able to cut the cake, Shams had his shoes taken. Shams laughed it off and ran over to his wife and started dancing with her.

Congratulation Yasmine and Shams!
