Rhode Island Halloween Wedding | Alexandria & Jared

October 30, 2022 at The Chapel Grille in Cranston, Rhode Island, Alex and Jared celebrated their marriage with their closest friends and family. This wasn’t any ordinary wedding reception, it was spooktacular. 

Let me rewind a little bit. When Alex first reached out to me about photographing their wedding, she emphasized their love for horror films and how they wanted to have it elegantly tied into their wedding day. Fast forward a few months, it was time for their engagement session. We met at Slate Park in Pawtucket, RI. Upon my arrival they expressed how they are not photogenic at all and feel very awkward in front of the camera. Let me tell you, these two are natural models! Throughout their engagement session, they kept making jokes about different horror film character. For instance: pennywise under the bridge. So naturally when it came time to edit their images, I HAD to add in some spooky edits for them. 

Jump ahead to their wedding day. After the church we made our way over to the Chapel Grille. I walked into the reception space and found the PERFECT blend of elegance and horror. From the black roses with orange paint speckles, to the instrumental horror film playlist, to the spooky engagement session photographs on display and so much more. Their wedding was one hundred percent them and I am beyond happy that I was able to capture it for them.
