Belle Mer

The Belle Mer is a glamorous seaside wedding located in Newport, Rhode Island. With 7 acres of manicured lawns, you can have up to 1,500 guests celebrating you in style. 

There are four locations for you to choose from. The Water Salon and Lawn is a 6,859 square-foot ballroom featuring 14-foot ceilings, a wall of glass doors, crystal chandeliers, a fireplace and flowy white sheer curtains that can hold up to 280 people for dinner and dancing.

The Island House is a little more relaxed and offers views of the Newport Bridge. The Island House is 5, 122 square feet and features 12-foot ceilings with Vanderbilt light posts, two water fountains, a fire pit and a private entrance for up to 180 guests for dinner and dancing.

The third location is the Island House Loft. Located on the second floor with 360-degree views. The loft is spacious and airy and makes for the perfect bridal suite for your wedding day. The lawn is perfect for lawn games under the evening stars and offers a fire pit, ceremony circle, crushed oyster shell path and a beautiful sunset view.

Belle Mer starts at $2,000 during peak season and includes the site fee, linens, planning, flatware, glassware, parking, set-up, cake cutting, tables and chairs. The cost for catering at the Belle Mer is $90 per person. This luxurious coastal venue can go vintage or contemporary. The versatility of the venue makes it a perfect venue for many couples.
