Rosecliff Mansion

A taste of 1920s opulence

The Rosecliff Mansion was built in 1902 for the Vanderbilts and has been featured in movies such as The Great Gatsby, 27 Dresses and True Lies. This mansion captures the charm and elegance of the Gilded Ages with its floor-to-ceiling windows, white terracotta exterior, classic lines and heart-shaped staircase.

The largest ballroom in Newport can be found at the Rosecliff Mansion which can accommodate up to 180 for dinner and dancing. The Salon is perfect for a dessert buffet and features ornate details. Outside offers a roofed terrace with panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean.

The Rosecliff only books one wedding an evening. The entire Mansion and 8 acres of manicured lawns is for you and your guests only. The starting rental rate for the mansion is $15,000. The average couple spends between $25,000- $85,000 for the rental, tables, chairs, linens, staff, police officer, prep fees, catering, bartending and more.

Want to say I do like you are in the movie Great Gatsby? Then the Rosecliff offers the perfect blend of elegance, romanticism and sophistication for your nuptials.
