Planning a wedding day can be stressful and figuring out the time of different parts of your wedding day can make it even worse! That is why I compiled some tips that I have heard from others as well as some of my own in hopes that it takes some of the stress away from you!

Roger Williams Park Engagement | Jared & Kelsey
One of my favorite things about engagement sessions, is that it allows me to get to know my couple more so we aren't strangers on their wedding day. One story I was told was about the proposal. Jared planned a date night at their favorite restaurant, Red Robin.
Farm Wedding | Steven & Stephanie
Stephanie and Steven's wedding took place on September 18, 2021 at Terrydiddle Farm in Rehobeth, MA. Their wedding was so perfectly decorated to fit both of them perfectly. From the centerpiece with fishing lure to tying a fisherman's knot it surely captured their love for the water and fishing.
Rhode island Brewery Wedding | Sean & Jill
This ceremony was definitely not your run of the mill ceremony! For starters, Jill danced halfway down the aisle where Sean met her and they finished the walk together. Also, the brewery was open to the public so they had some onlookers cheering them on for their first kiss.
Lighthouse Engagement Session | TJ & Brianna
TJ decided on Ned's Point Lighthouse in Mattapoisett, MA because his girlfriend, Brianna, loves lighthouses. He planned a day date with her to go check out this lighthouse. Upon their arrival, TJ and Brianna walked along the water before heading to look at the lighthouse.
Colt State Park Proposal Anthony & Allie
Anthony reached out to me with the cutest idea to propose to Allie. He chose to propose at Colt State Park on the north end overlooking the bay. As they were finishing breakfast, Anthony reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring, completely surprising Allie. She obviously said YES!
Bridgewater Backyard Wedding | Nick & Sarah
Nick and Sarah got married on Saturday, June 26, 2021 in a family member's backyard in Bridgewater, MA. Just before the guests started showing up, it started to sprinkle. But after about fifteen minutes, the rain went away. As the saying goes a wet knot is harder to untie.
Norton Country Club Wedding | Joe & Cindy
Joe and Cindy said their "I dos" on April 24, 2021 at the beautiful Norton Country Club! The process of getting to their perfect wedding day wasn't the easiest. These two live in Texas and were planning their wedding in Rhode Island.
Lighthouse Elopement | Thomas & Brittany
Instead of a big wedding, they eloped at Scituate Lighthouse with their son and one other relative (and a few strangers onlooking from afar). During the ceremony, their son, Tyler, snuck off and threw a rock or two into the ocean. He always showed up with his top hat for formal portraits.
Wedding planning: mock timeline for your wedding day
Having a wedding timeline allows you to see how your wedding day will run and see if you need to make any changes to it. Below are two different timelines for the ceremony and reception. The first timeline is with a first look and the other is without.
Valentine’s Day Elopement | Matt & Destanee
Matt and Destanee got married on Valentine's Day at the Scituate Lighthouse. Despite the temperature being in the 20s, they couldn't have asked for better February weather. The pending ice storm and wind all held off so these two could say "I do" while overlooking the ocean.
Small Church Elopement | Stacey & Peter
With the ever-changing regulations for COVID-19, Peter and Stacey decided to move their wedding day to January 2, 2021. They instead had a small intimate wedding at The First Baptist Church in Newton, MA. With 25 of their closest friends and family there in person and many more watching at home via live stream.
Christmas Wedding | James & Valerie
Like most 2020 couples, James and Valerie were forced to change their big wedding plans to a more intimate setting. With the ever-changing guideline for gathering size, they narrowed their 100+ person guest list down to 25 and had the most beautiful intimate wedding at St. Kevin's Church in Warwick, RI.
New Bedford Engagement | Steven & Stephanie
Stephanie and Steven's Fort Taber Engagement Session had a little extra surprise. They decided to include their dog! With both of their love for the water, this was the perfect location to capture their love. Without a single cloud in sight, at the end of their engagement session the sky had a beautiful orange glow!
Apple Orchard Engagement | Justin & Katelyn
Katelyn reached out to me to photograph their engagement photos. After chatting with her about their vision for their session we came up with a perfect plan. We spent an hour and a half at Queset Garden in Easton. We took full advantage of the gorgeous scenery and weather.
Backyard Wedding | Dave & Gina
Their wedding day went perfectly: the wind died down just in time for their ceremony, the lighting was amazing, and every detail down to the sparkle pieces in her hair. Gina's brother officiated for them and he added the perfect amount of sweet and funny into their ceremony. After the ceremony, we snuck over to the golf course behind their house to capture the beautiful foliage.
